Our high-tech products are unique from cellphones, laptops, watches, and robo-pets. Our company is unique because we allow our employees to be creative and productive, we give them an opportunity to flourish with the company. Company Process Our Company Process to reach our sales goal of $10,000 per week is to have 90% close ratio. We have the most top selling products for the past three quarters, it’s important that we keep our numbers up and ask our customers what they like about our products and what else would other products that they would be interested in purchasing. Once finalizing a sale the customer is to receive a coupon book of various other products that we sell with the company. All sales are documented in our systems and a second receipt is kept within the register. Company Procedures Depending on the product the customer purchased, at Apple we show the customer how to use their device and to maintain it for a long life span. For instance, if the customer purchases an Iphone we show them how to  operate the device and downloads any apps they may be interested in and show them how to setup their emails, contacts, and etc. We show clients how to search and download apps that help them maintain their lifestyle. We help the client login in to their emails so they have them on hand without the use of a computer. If the customer had another phone we help them retrieve their contacts without the hassle of reentry. The iphone also comes with Siri who helps the user navigate through the phone or any question the researcher may have. Siri can call your contact, research information, and even offer the client a weather update. As our new manager at Apple, you are expected to follow our procedures and regulations and train all new employees to do the same. Our company is innovative and unique we offer our clients the best products available to them and build client relationships for future business with them.

Revolutionary War: The Battles of Lexington and Concord The battles of Lexington and Concord were neccessary battles to the American Revolutionary War because they started the very thing that made our country free. Many people have always wondered how the historic American Revolutionary War got started. Sure, they have heard the stories of Paul Revere and the Midnight Ride: There was even a poem written about his ride, but Paul Revere didn’t start the war. It was a much bigger deal than just that. The Battles of Lexington and Concord were the very first battles of the Revolutionary War. The battle of Lexington was a brief fight that marked the first war-like conflict. It took place on the morning of April 19, 1775, when about 70 colonial minutemen, commanded by Captain John Parker, collided with about 800 British soldiers marching their way to Concord, Massachusetts, to steal some equipment from the colonial militia. The British soldiers were under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Francis Smith (Lexington, Battle of). The first shot fired at this battle was the famous "Shot heard around the world." It was called that because it affected the history of the world greatly. Although when this battle happened, it wasn’t an official battle. It was mainly just like David and Goliath. It wasn’t fair: 800 seasoned soldiers against 70 colonial men. The men who were involved were called "embattled farmers" by the well-known New England poet, Ralph Waldo Emerson. These "embattled farmers" faced many long years of war. When the war ended, however, the 13 colonies would stand as a free country (Davidson). The Battle of Concord was the first serious conflict of the Revolutionary War. It again was fought on the same day as the battle of Lexington, April 19, 1775. The colonists had failed to stop the British, but they got reinforcements. when the British got to Concord, there was no equipment to be taken. It was a decoy and the British had been tricked. When they turned around to head back, they were faced with the Colonial army to fight. The colonial army won and the American Revolutionary War had begun. At the battle of Concord, Captain John Parker said, "Stand your ground; don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here." Many famous people were involved in these battles. Paul Revere was a patriot who is well-known for his famous midnight ride.

Comprehensive Continuous Evaluation

Over the years it is the opinion of every educationist, teacher and general public that board or annual school examinations based on tests in two or three hours duration provide limited Information on various elements of curriculum and range of learning in any subjects. ln view of the above short comings in the existing system of evaluation it is desirable that evaluation of students should be not only continuous but comprehensive also.The term Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) is used for school based evaluation of pupils in which their assessment is done on a ontinuous basis throughout the year and which Is also comprehensive in nature, in the sense that It Is not confined to assessment In scholastic subjects but also covers co-scholastlc areas such as performance In games/sports, Physical education, Creative Education, Art, Music, Dance, Drama, other cultural activities and Personal & Social qualities. The main aim of CCE is to evaluate every aspect of the child during their presence at the school.This is believed to help reduce the pressure on the child during/before examinations as the student will have to sit for multiple tests hroughout the year, of which no test or the syllabus covered will be repeated at the end of the year, whatsoever. As a part of this new system, student's marks will be replaced by grades which will be evaluated through a series of curricular and extra- curricular evaluations along with academics. The aim is to reduce the workload on students and to improve the overall skill and ability of the student by means of evaluation of other activities.Grades are awarded to students based on work experience skills, dexterity, innovation, steadiness, teamwork, public speaking, ehavior, etc. to evaluate and present an overall measure of the student's ability. This helps the students who are not good In academics to show their talent in other fields . The National Policy on Education (1986) and the Programme of Action (1992) followe d by the National Curriculum Framework of School Education (1986 and 2000) reiterated the need for developing the personal and social qualities In learners.They stressed the point that the evaluation should be comprehensive In nature, wherein all learning experiences pertalnlng to scholastic, co-scholasuc and personal and ocial qualities are assessed. To make this happen the MHRD announced Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation system which is to be implemented in every school . Adhd And Its Effects On Children - 1358 Words

When given the option to choose a condition to write a paper on I was immediately drawn to ADD and ADHD because these conditions are something that has had a direct effect on my life. These two disabilities weren’t just words to me, they were my reality. My father had ADHD but we were never told the name of it, rather that he just couldn’t sit still and needed to tinker, so dad was a tinkerer. It wasn’t until years later that I was diagnosed with ADD, which I realized that it was a condition that could helped. I wasn’t alone in my diagnosis, my little sister, my husband and my daughter all have ADHD. For many I think these conditions are just words or labels to put on inattentive children, but I think if they had more education about the†¦show more content†¦In my cases I come from a long line of those with ADHD, but I was diagnosed as having ADD, which as far as symptoms go the opposite of each other. Yet, when learning more about the condition I learned that many, myself included fit into the nongenetic causes as well. Our text describes those factors as including â€Å"prenatal and perinatal factors, allergies, and thyroid disorders† (72). The older I get the more I see this condition in the children during my observations in the classroom, I often wonder how many people have ADHD/ADD and how many either don’t know or go untreated. According to the CDC website, â€Å"Approximately 11% of children 4-17 years of age (6.4 million) have ever been diagnosed with ADHD as of 2011. The percentage of children with an ADHD diagnosis continues to increase, from 7.8% in 2003 to 9.5% in 2007 and to 11.0% in 2011†. The numbers are astounding, I couldn’t believe how many have this condition, but I also think there has to be so many more than those numbers who live life untreated or uneducated to the disorder. Something I discovered with my diagnosis was that there really isn’t an individual test for this condition, which causes issues in the identification and assessment of many that have ADHD or ADD. I think that’s why so many live the majority of their lives without knowledge or help with treatmen t.
